Metal Roofing
Standing seam metal roofing with Kynar 500/Hylar 5000 PVDF finish. The coating that keeps color for 40+ years without fading or chalking. We install Sheffield Metals and McElroy Metal panels in 24-gauge Galvalume steel with concealed Z-clips. UL 2218 Class 4 impact resistance. UL 790 Class A fire rating. Wind uplift tested to ASTM E1592. The only roof you'll ever need in Charter Oak.
Shingle Roofing
We install asphalt shingles from every major manufacturer. GAF, Owens Corning, CertainTeed, Atlas, Tamko, Malarkey, IKO. Each has different warranty tiers and price points. We walk you through the comparison without pushing one brand.
Flat Roofing
Flat roofs need special attention. Water doesn't run off, it sits. We install TPO, PVC, EPDM, and modified bitumen systems designed to handle ponding water in Iowa's climate.
Commercial Roofing
Roof coatings can extend the life of your commercial roof by 10-15 years for a fraction of replacement cost. We apply silicone and acrylic coatings over existing TPO, EPDM, and metal substrates. Not every roof qualifies. We'll be straight with you.
Gutter Installation
We offer aluminum, copper, and steel gutters for Charter Oak homes. Most folks go with .027 gauge seamless aluminum. It's durable, affordable, and comes in 25+ colors. Copper looks amazing but costs 3-4x more.
Roof Inspection
Infrared moisture scanning available for Charter Oak commercial and flat roof inspections. Thermal imaging locates trapped moisture in the insulation layer without cutting core samples. We use Flir E8 cameras to map wet areas, then core sample only the suspect zones to confirm. Saves time, reduces disruption, and gives you a precise repair scope instead of a guess.

Skylight Installation
VELUX FS fixed skylights and VS vented skylights installed with EDL flashing kits for profile roofing. The flashing integrates with your shingle courses per IRC R903.2 weather protection requirements. We cut the opening, frame the curb with doubled 2x lumber, install the skylight with factory sealant, and weave the flashing into the existing shingle field. Leak-proof when done right. And we do it right in Charter Oak.
